CAMPS 2008

Through many years of coaching, we have developed a philosophy or formula for development of young players to realize their potential and to have the tools to achieve their goals by providing an enjoyable, positive, motivated, educational environment.

TODAY'S  PREPARATION * TOMORROW'S ACHIEVEMENT

 PREPARATION = SUCCESS = ENJOYMENT = MOTIVATION = ACHIEVEMENT

With attention to the following areas we hope to

 Develop a Passion for the game!!!
  • The skill / tactical requirements of top-flight soccer.
  • Fitness requirements for the physical demands of soccer.
  • Life style considerations to reach the highest level of performance.
  • The importance of striving for the highest educational attainments

The exhilaration is in the Endeavor!

The joy is in the Achievement!

Rick "Doc" Groulx

There are many people, particularly in sports, who think that success and excellence are the same thing and they are not the same thing.  Excellence is something that is lasting and dependable and largely within a persons control.  In contrast, success is perishable and is often outside our control  If you strive for excellence, you will probably be successful eventuallypeople who put excellence in first place have the patience to end up with success An additional burden for the victim of the success mentality is that he/she is threatened by the success of others and resents real excellence.  In contrast, the person fascinated by quality is excited when he/she sees it in others.
